Last week I finished a simple Minnesota site theme update, The job started with a client that had installed several security plugins. After configuring the last installation, as she put it, “the site is so secure that I can’t even login!”. ?
I fixed that situation quickly by simply deleting her security plugin using her cPanel. Then she asked me to critique her site. My main critique was that is wasn’t mobile friendly. The theme was a custom theme written by a local Minnesota WordPress developer in 2011. In 2011, it wasn’t a key thing to be mobile friendly.
She asked if I had a theme in mind that would work better. I did. For this Minnesota site theme update, I chose Longevity by Shaped Pixels. It’s got a beautiful curved header and a Sky color palette that was perfect for this clients message.
The site had been written without any page builder so the update was fast and simple!
